Education
My Ph.D. (doctorate) in Marriage and Family Therapy was earned at Brigham Young University. Other graduate work included a master's degree in Family Studies from Central Washington University and certification in Counseling Psychology from Eastern Washington University.
Experience
I began my work as a therapist in 1986. Earlier, I taught in public schools and was a school counselor.
In addition to my current therapy practice with couples, individuals and families, I am an adjunct professor
in the Marriage and Family Therapy Department of Brigham Young University.
From 2006 until 2008 I have been privileged to serve as president of the Utah Association for Marriage
and Family Therapy.
